Please be sure all orders are either in the office by 9:00 a.m. of the order day or in the TRIP box in the Narthex BEFORE the order date (they will be picked up on Sunday after the last Mass). If you leave your order in the TRIP box, payment must by by check–we cannot be responsible for cash.
T.R.I.P. is essentially a personal fundraising program that doesn’t require you to sell anything or purchase items you really don’t need. Instead, you buy gift cards and certificates through St. Ann School for the places you already patronize: grocery stores, retail establishments, gas stations and other service providers, and restaurants. The cards work the same as cash and can be used to make purchases and, in some cases, pay off store credit cards. (Please refer to the order form for specific information on each store or restaurant). The school is able to purchase the cards at a discount, you pay face value for them, and the difference is deposited in your T.R.I.P account–which then goes toward your tuition payments.
How do I order T.R.I.P. Certificates? A new blue registration form must be completed each year by every school family (regardless of previous participation). Orders are processed every Monday morning, and ready for distribution on Thursday. The blue form can be turned in with your first order. Once you register and place an order, you will then receive your permanent T.R.I.P. envelope, which should be used every week when you order. Simply fill in the number of certificates and dollar amount you need for each store and total your order. Please check the accuracy of your order. Exchanges or refunds cannot be made–all sales are final. Payment can be made by cash or check payable to St. Ann School T.R.I.P. There will be a $20.00 service charge on any returned checks.
Should you forget to send your order in with your child on a given Monday, it must be in the T.R.I.P. office no later than 9:00 a.m. to be processed for the week. We do not place orders on weeks when there is a Monday holiday.
You may choose to have your order sent home with your child or held for pick-up. If the certificates are to go home with a student, the disclaimer on the registration form under Part D must be signed and on file with us. This disclaimer will be valid until we receive written notice from you that you no longer want certificates to be sent home with your child. If a disclaimer is not signed, your certificates will be held for pick-up at the School Office.
T.R.I.P. orders will be distributed every Thursday prior to dismissal. Any order marked “HOLD” will be available for pick-up after 2:30 p.m. at the School Office. When you receive your T.R.I.P order, please verify the contents of the envelope with your order immediately. This will help us track any problems that could possibly occur. Problems should be directed to Denise Johnson. Failure to do so in a timely manner only makes a problem harder to track. These certificates are just like cash. Neither St. Ann School nor the T.R.I.P. Program can accept responsibility for lost or misplaced certificates.
When placing an order, please help us process your order as quickly as possible by:
- Always using the correct envelope and order form. The school office has extra order forms if you need them.
- Completing all information, including your child’s teacher and grade, your telephone number, and your check number.
- Filling in both the number of certificates needed and the dollar amounts, and making sure your total order matches your payment.
- Remembering to check Hold for Pick-Up or Send with Student. If one of these is not checked, it will be held for pick-up. No exceptions!
