A member of St. Ann Parish since junior high, Dan and his wife RoxAnne are current school parents.  He has served for many years on the St. Ann Sports Committee, coaches baseball and basketball, and has vast experience in board administration as the former president of the Lansing Old Timers and two-term Mayor of the Village of Lansing.

Nicole joined the St. Ann School Board in August 2017.  She has been a parishioner of St. Ann for most of her life, and is the proud mother of two current students, as well as an alumnus herself.  Hillegonds has been an active parent volunteer in the school, has served on the board of the Home and School Association (HSA), as a Parent Ambassador, and as a Head Room Parent for several years.  She is a Registered Dietitian by trade, and also teaches classes at local colleges.  Hillegonds is passionate about St. Ann School and looks forward to helping shape the school’s future.

Bernard and his family have been parishioners at St. Ann for 18 years.  Bernard obtained his BS/MS (1987) and Ph.D. (1992) in Engineering from Moscow University of Science and Technology in Russia where he met and married his wife of 26 years, Larisa.  Together they have four children, all of whom grew up in Lansing and received religious education from St. Ann. Bernard is currently a group manager at ArcelorMittal Global R&D, engaged in developing and improving processes for manufacturing steel.  As devout Catholics, Bernard and Larisa seek to actively participate in the life, mission, and work of the St. Ann faith community by volunteering in parish ministries.  He has been a member of the St. Ann Ushers group since 2003 and served as co-chairman on the St. Ann School Principal Selection Committee in 2010.  As a Nigerian-born naturalized citizen of the United States, Bernard finds Lansing an ideal place for his culturally diverse family and background.

Robert is a lifelong member of St. Ann parish and has served on the Parish Finance Council since 2011.  He and his wife Melissa have two daughters, one who graduated from St. Ann School last year, and the other currently in 6th grade.  Locally, Dabrowski coaches his daughters’ Lansing Old Timers and St. Ann volleyball teams.  He graduated from Marist High School and then Lewis University, with majors in Accounting and Business Administration, is a CPA, and currently holds the position of Manager of Financial Planning and Reporting for the SGK Americas division of Matthews International (NYSE:MATW).

Ashley has attended St. Ann Parish her entire life and graduated from St. Ann School in 2004.  During this time, she was an altar server at Sunday masses, weddings, and funerals, and served as both a lector and a Eucharistic Minister.  After graduating from Marian Catholic High School in 2008, Sypole attended Valparaiso University (2012).  She is currently receiving her Master’s Degree in Spanish from Middlebury College’s Spanish School and is in her fifth year of teaching for the Archdiocese of Chicago, four of them at Marian.  Sypole took this position on the School Board because she feels that the foundation of an individual is created and shaped during their formative years.  She believes that St. Ann offers students a faith-filled education which is important in preparing that foundation more holistically, enforcing strong academics but, more importantly, encouraging students to use their gifts to serve them in their life, church, and community.

Jesse is a St. Ann parishioner and parent of a St. Ann School alum (2017) who is currently a student at Marian Catholic High School.  His family also includes two older children who graduated from St. Florian and St. Ignatius High School.  A 27-year-member of the Chicago Police Department who graduated from Calumet College of St. Joseph, Terrazas and his wife Sharon were recipients of the 2013 Archdiocesan Development Council Impact Award for Catholic schools volunteerism. He was a member of the marketing committee and Parents Club at St. Florian Elementary School in Chicago and was instrumental in the “Santa on the Roof” campaign to raise money to keep the school open.  Terrazas is eager to use his energy and talents to help St. Ann move in a direction of scholastic success.
