Uniforms

All students in grades Kindergarten through Grade 8 are expected to wear the approved uniform every day—we are proud of our uniforms and the cohesive look they give our students!  The following requirements will be in effect August 16, 2018, amending any previous policies.  Adherence will be strictly enforced.  All pieces should be pressed and in good repair with no holes, stains, undone hems, etc.

St. Ann School uniforms are available for purchase at Schoolbelles.com or their retail location at 7661 South Harlem Avenue, Bridgeview Court, Bridgeview, IL  60455, 708-929-4695.  Please call for hours.  Our School Code for online orders is S2747.  We have a limited inventory of used uniforms for sale in the school—call for availability.

Black uniform pants (not jeans or cargo pants), long or short-sleeved gray polo shirt with collar, buttons, and embroidered St. Ann logo (from Schoolbelles).  Dark green vest, cardigan, or pullover optional as needed.  Pants and shorts (before Nov. 1/after April 1) must have belt loops and be worn with a black belt.  Shirts must be tucked in.  Socks can be white, dark green, black, or gray, with no logos.  No ankle socks.

Plaid jumper (tunic style for K-1st/V-neck for 1st-3rd), skirt (Grades 4-8, two styles to choose from), or black pants (not jeans or cargo pants, no rivets or patch pockets), white blouse (with jumpers) or gray polo shirt with collar, buttons, and embroidered St. Ann logo (from Schoolbelles).  Length of skirt is to be no shorter than three inches above knee.  Dark green vest, cardigan, or pullover optional as needed.  Pants and shorts (before Nov. 1/after April 1) must have belt loops and be worn with a black belt.  Stockings must be dark green, gray, black, or white.  Socks should be plain (no logos) and may be anklets (no ruffles or lace), knee-highs, or tights.  No leggings, panty hose, or ankle socks.  Warm up or pajama pants may not be worn during school, nor should a student wear an outside jacket during class time.  Rather, the St. Ann cardigan or branded fleece should be worn if needed.

Physical education uniforms are required for students in grades K-8, along with gym shoes (which may be colors other than black on gym day) and visible socks with no logos.  The uniform consists of green St. Ann shorts or sweatpants and gray St. Ann t-shirts or sweatshirts (St. Ann 100th Anniversary t-shirts are acceptable).  Gym uniforms are available for purchase at Besse Shirt and Lettering, or Lansing Sport Shop, both located in Lansing.  The gym uniform is worn on the student’s gym day for the entire day.

All students must wear solid black, brown, or gray dress shoes, or solid black athletic shoes.  There can be no logos, laces, or accents in white or any other color.  If your student wore shoes that had white or other colors on them in the past, these are not in compliance with current rules.  No clogs, sandals, flip-flops, sling backs, slippers, boots, or heels more than 1/2” may be worn.
